How does Order Fulfilment work?

This can include eCommerce fulfilment, parts logistics, device fulfilment and many other branches of order fulfilment.

Brands and retailers partner with fulfilment companies such as Staci who have expertise in logistics management, leaving brands more time to focus on product development, retail and customer loyalty. Fulfilment experts like Staci will store the full stock inventory for their clients, in a secure, highly efficient Fulfilment Centre – or, where multiple countries are being served, sometimes multiple Fulfilment Centres in or closest to the various operating territories of a brand.

Brands connect their systems and processes to Staci, who take responsibility for the ultimate delivery of products to customers – whether B2B or B2C.

What is the process of Order Fulfilment?

Staci receives orders from multiple routes on behalf of our clients – these could be received through manual means, however are usually received through automated digital routes, including Staci’s own online order system and through multiple major system integrations with our clients, including into the likes of Shopify, WooCommerce, Commerce Cloud, SAP, Ariba and Oracle Netsuite.

Once orders are received by Staci, they will be picked and packed through a combination of automated technology and expert Team Members, dependent on the optimum operational model and efficiency for each individual client.

As Staci manage full end-to-end logistics and fulfilment, these orders will then flow through to despatch and delivery, utilising one of Staci’s many delivery partners – whether mail, parcel, pallet or full vehicle load – to deliver to the requested end destination.

Returned orders flow back to Staci automatically, entering quarantine and approval workflows where required, including repair and refurbishment routes where agreed too.
