Staci UK Commits to 100% Renewable Energy for All UK Fulfilment Centres

Staci, a leading provider of multichannel logistics and fulfilment solutions, is proud to announce a major milestone in its environmental sustainability journey. The company has secured energy deals to power all seven of its UK Fulfilment Centres with 100% renewable energy, as part of its broader commitment to achieving zero carbon emissions.

This strategic move ensures that Staci UK’s fulfilment network, spanning nearly 900,000 square feet, will operate entirely on renewable and nuclear-free energy sources. By transitioning to cleaner energy, Staci is playing its part in reducing the environmental footprint of its operations, contributing to the health of local and global communities alike.

“ESG is at the heart of everything we do,” said Wayne Chapman, CEO at Staci UK. “By powering our fulfilment centres with 100% renewable energy, we are taking significant steps towards reducing our carbon footprint and supporting the UK’s renewable energy goals. This is just one part of our broader commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) excellence.”

Staci’s commitment to environmental responsibility is part of its global strategy to drive sustainability across its operations. The company’s ESG goals include:

  • Reducing emissions: Staci is actively working on reducing carbon emissions across its global operations through energy efficiencies, process improvements, and innovative solutions that reduce its environmental impact.
  • Carbon efficiency: By adopting renewable energy, Staci is creating carbon efficiencies that benefit its clients and communities by reducing the carbon intensity of its fulfilment services.
  • Future-focused supply chains: Staci is dedicated to building more sustainable and resilient supply chains by focusing on eco-friendly operations that deliver long-term value to clients and society.
  • Giving back to local communities: Staci is a patron of both Blackburn with Darwen and Wigan Youth Zones, supporting young people in their local communities to have safer and brighter futures, through financial donations, volunteering, and other initiatives.

“Our global and local sustainability targets are driven by our commitment to outstanding ESG practices,” added Wayne Chapman. “This renewable energy initiative is just the beginning of our work to lower emissions and build supply chains that are truly sustainable for future generations.”

Staci’s efforts to embrace renewable energy form part of a wider strategy to address climate change and deliver greater environmental value to its clients. By taking meaningful actions like this, Staci continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating a more responsible, environmentally friendly logistics sector.
