Multichannel Fulfilment Expert, Staci, has been named as a 2024 UK’s Best Workplace™ in Manufacturing, Production and Transportation.
As part of its Great Place To Work® certification, Staci was named the UK’s Best Large Logistics Employer, and has now received the accolade of a 2024 UK’s Best Workplace™ in Manufacturing, Production and Transportation.
Great Place To Work® is a nationally recognised organisation who work with companies to survey their Team Members. The results of these surveys will then indicate whether a business is a Great Place To Work®. With a score of 77% Staci was thrilled to receive this certification.
The logistics sector has historically had a bad reputation when it comes to employee engagement, with the average in the industry being just 28%. Staci is determined to break this cycle, by implementing several initiatives to ensure its Team Members feel safe, comfortable, happy, and engaged at work. Some of these include:
- Hapi Benefits App – this is an app where all Staci Team Members can access exclusive discounts from some of the world’s best loved brands, as well as nominate their colleagues for great work.
- Regular treat days – Team Staci work really hard, and they deserve to have their efforts rewarded with regular treat days, which they always give positive feedback about.
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and Mental Health First Aiders – The EAP allows Team Members to access free counselling sessions should they need them, and our dedicated Mental Health First Aiders at every UK site are specially trained to help anyone who may be struggling.
- Birthday off – every Team Member gets their birthday off work so they can celebrate.
- Employee Forum – a platform where Team Members can share ideas and feedback directly with management.
- Skillgate – a platfor which gives Team Members access to free training courses
These are just a handful of the engagement initiatives that have been set up at Staci, which have helped the company’s engagement rates soar from 51% in 2019, to 77% in 2024.
